James II:
- He Ruled England from 1685 to 1688
- He gained the throne by being the last direct Stuart monarch
- He was a Roman Catholic
He had a negative impact on England. Few liked him because his main goal was to fill positions of authority and influence with Roman Catholics, so he ended up issueing two declarations suspending the laws against Catholics and dissenters.
King James II - He was a strong follower of Catholic faith.
- He was most known for being forced out of power by what was known as the "Glorious Revolution".
